Explore Tivoli Park, Ljubljana's largest and most beautiful parkland area, stretching right into the city centre, and take an interesting hike to the Cankarjev vrh peak on the nearby Rožnik hill. Nice way to spend a day. More about visiting Ljubljana www.visitljubljana.com

Tivoli City Park or simply Tivoli Park is the largest park in Ljubljana. It is located on the northern outskirts of the Center and it is home to a variety of bird species.

Tivoli is our capital's largest park. It is situated in a flat area, to the west of the compact city centre, beneath the forested slopes of the Rožnik and the Šišenski hrib hills. It is divided into three tree-lined alleys where horse-chestnut trees offer pleasantly cooling shade to be enjoyed by walkers on hot days. During a walk, you can see several sculptures and fountains as well as various flower-beds. In the central part of the park, there is the Jakopič Promenade, particularly noted for its outdoor photo exhibitions. The park is a popular recreation area with hiking and fitness trails, along which you can find outdoor exercise equipment.
