Another historic building worth to see in Brisbane. There is free classical concerts on Sunday organised by University of Queensland occasionally.

There’s something extra-special about sitting on the leafy terrace with white table linen, high tea stands and views of the Story Bridge while historic Customs House towers over you. Celebrate something special, or just the fact that you’re in Brisbane.

Built in 1889, Customs House is one of Brisbane's most precious historic buildings. It is a popular event space and dining venue. They also host their popular pop-up bar at intervals throughout the year, showcasing different beverages. Its a lovely spot outside in the afternoon to sip on your drink of choice and watch the world go by.

Customs House is a heritage-listed customs house at 427 Queen Street, Brisbane CBD, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Now an award winning Brisbane restaurant with spectacular views of Brisbane's river and CBD. It was designed by Charles H McLay and built from 1886 to 1889 at a cost of ₤38,346 by John Petrie & Son. It was originally used for the collection of customs duty and was opened in 1889, when Queensland was a British colony, replacing the original Customs House located at Petrie Bight. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 7 February 2005.
