The Veranda Cafe at Stonyridge is nestled in a thoroughly romantic and beautiful vineyard setting with great food and wine on offer. Enjoy the relaxed tasting lounge open daily from 11:30am for tastings. Stonyridge is the home of the famous ‘Stonyridge Larose’ wine.

This vineyard was the second vineyard established on the island and the mature vines produce award winning red wines. The restaurant is a favourite with locals and visitors to the island alike. You can get there by taking the 2 or 2x bus towards Rocky Bay and changing to the 1 bus in Ostend. The bus driver will tell you where to change buses.

Get on a ferry from Britomart Terminal, and spend a day out on the amazing Wahike Island! This is only one of the many Winery options on the island. Ideal for wine lovers but also for the explorers wanting to spend the day out! Many restaurants and water sports options there too.
