Built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland's greatest chieftans, Cormac MacCarthy, and has been attracting attention ever since. Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney making it a world landmark and one of Ireland's greatest treasures. Kiss the blarney stone! Bucket List Tick!!! Get the "gift of the Gab" and enjoy a great day out at this historic landmark and gardens. Located just 1.5hrs from Inch House.

Although the castle is famous for the Blarney Stone at the top, I prefer spending an afternoon strolling through the gardens. The grounds are absolutely stunning and I'd recommend planning a few hours just to enjoy them.
