The Crinan Canal stretches from Ardrishaig to Crinan. Cycle along it, drive up to Crinan and marvel at the nineteenth century engineering that built over 30 locks to enable goods to pass from the Islands to the markets of Scotland. A beautiful evening stroll too!

Sail, walk, jog, kayak or cycle along the Crinan Canal - once an important commercial connection with the Western Isles, most of the traffic is now pleasure craft. It is an outstanding piece of engineering with a dramatic history.
