This is a favorite hike for kids and those for whom walking is a little more difficult. Although it used to be isolated, you can now drive to the trailhead and walk on well maintained trails on the island/peninsula at the mouth of Copper Harbor.

An absolutely stunning rock beach just outside of Copper Harbor. The beach is part of a system of trails at Hunter's Point Park that are worth exploring.
