Firle is a pretty village with the Ram Inn, a nice pub, and the fabulous Beanstalk cafe nearby plus some great walks

Firle Beacon is a hill in the South Downs of southern England. It is 217 metres high and is a Marilyn. It commands a far-reaching view. When the prevailing wind is northerly, the site is often used for gliding activities like slope soaring.

Commands really good views over the Downs, Weald and coast. Atmospheric and subject of legends and ghost stories. A focal point on the South Downs Way.
