The mother of modern luxury fashion boutiques was founded by the marvelous Joan Burstein in 1970. She is known for discovering future designer superstars (John Galliano), and even in her 90s is still supporting young talent. A great place to spot the fashion stars of the future and to see the best of the fashion luxe world. The shop is a collection of stores that have been smooshed together ,so it’s very higgledy-piggledy. Finding all the rooms is like a magical mystery tour. Make sure you look round every corner and go up every step so you don’t miss anything.
