The period display cases house wines, champagnes and spirits of the best quality. Among the dishes, the Neapolitan rice timbale (sartù) and the endive savory pies are good. There is no shortage of traditional Neapolitan desserts such as babà and pastiera, a vast assortment of traditional artisan pastries. It often hosts literary events and is a meeting point for politicians from the nearby Montecitorio palace but also for artists, journalists and writers.
