Book in for a tour at the Emma Bridgewater factory in Hanley in Stoke on Trent. The area is famous for its pottery manufacturing. Factory shop and lovely cafe on site too

There is a free factory tour when you visit. It has a great seconds shop, with good bargains!

World Capital of Ceramics, Stoke-on-Trent, has award-winning visitor centres and museums dedicated to the most famous names in china, including Wedgwood and Emma Bridgewater. Emma's factory is in a Victorian pot bank alongside the Caldon Canal.
