Potrero Hill Recreation Center: There are two playgrounds here--the upper one is great for younger kids, and the lower one is better for adventurous young ones or older kids. Both have amazing city and bay views.

When I'm jet lagged I sometimes come up here to see the sunrise over the bay. It's also a good spot to run to if you don't mind the hills.

2 enclosed playgrounds, indoor basketball courts, dog run, baseball fields, tennis courts. Views of bay and downtown.
