Great local cinema with large screen showing films in original language (i.e. not dubbed, as is common in most German movie houses), including Hollywood fare.

The Cinema is an institution in Munich: located roughly between Hofbräukeller and Munich's beer garden classic Augustiner Biergarten, this cinema shows only English speaking films in the original version without subtitles, in a great atmosphere: its faithful fans occasionally queue up for tickets for days and dress up for showings of special cult films.
