Down at the beach you can dine on the terrace of The Strand and the food is great. No need to book the terrace tables but the fine dining restaurant does need booking. Crab Claws in garlic butter are a favourite. In 2023 they opened a new cafe close by called The Cliff. It serves breakfast and lunch every day throughout the year and from June it will serve Thai cuisine in the evenings.

Very nice pub right at the water's edge in Dunmore. Besides bar food there's a snazzy restaurant with phenomenal views. Request a table looking out towards the Hook. They also run The Cliff which is 2 doors along. this serves breakfast/bistro food and Thai most evenings.

If Fish is your thing, then you should find a good selection in the Strand beside the beach. Plenty of seating outside with the most amazing views. It offers casual and formal dining, and while it may be a little more expensive than some of the other restaurants in Dunmore, it really has the edge with location.
