One of the most famous Castels in Kastela- is in the Kastel Gomilica, named Kastilas- because Game of Thrones was filmed here.

Kastilac, another incredible Game of Thrones location, was a Benedictine monastery fortress on the Adriatic Sea. Due to the Turkish threat, during the 15th century the Benedictine nuns completed the construction of a fortified settlement on the islet of Gomilica—40 m away from the shore, connected by a stone bridge, and protected by a high defensive tower.
