Apparently the oldest Inn in Kendal, sensitively refurbished.

14 Highgate, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4SX 01539 731115, 10 minutes walk. A nice old pub in the centre of Kendal which has recently been fully refurbished. Good pub food, real ale, fine wines and a nice atmosphere.
