This is a small ski area with only one lift. It's a great place to learn to ski and snowboard.

You can ski and sled here. All snow areas require a Sno-Park permit during winter season. You'll probably also need 4-wheel drive and chains.

Sweet, small, local Ski resort perfect for beginners because of the gentle terrain and mellow vibe. Very reasonable lift tickets for all ages- under 6 yrs are free. (Check website for current prices). Several tubing hills with snow tube included with ticket price for a fun day with the kids. This resort is right in Government Camp, so you can head over to the Huckleberry Inn for a burger and an old fashioned Milk Shake when you are done! 😋

Summit Ski Area was established in 1927, and is the second oldest continuously operating ski area in the United States. Summit’s base elevation is 4,000 ft. and has 306 ft. of vertical lift for skiing and snowboarding. Summit Ski Area caters to families and novices. Summit also offers snow tubing.
