McMenamins Kennedy School Hotel
My personal favorite McMenamins ever. What could be better than an old school turned into a maze of restaurants, bars and a movie theater? Detention was never so much fun.
We love going to the soaking pool at Kennedy School on NE 33rd. The only downside is sometimes there’s a bit of a wait.
You should for sure visit this place. They have multiple bars, a restaurant and a soaking pool
Great soaking pool. (Only 5 dollars per person). Lots of different bars and food in an old renovated elementary school.
Way more than a hotel! So fun to explore this historic school renovated into an awesome movie theater, soaking pool, restaurant & bar! Go check it out!
A historic elementary school turned into a unique hotel, located in Northeast Portland. In addition to lodging Kennedy school offers multiple restaurants and bars, A theater, live music and events and a soaking pool!
Movie theater there where you can have a beer and bite to eat while your watching a movie
NW local chain of restaurants (basic pub food-great Cajun tots), beers (the Ruby is famous), movie theaters, and soaking tubs. Check out their website mcmenamins.com
“Alberta Location - Seriously- this place will ruin you for any other ice cream. Seasonal menu changes monthly. Several locations. Not to be missed while you are in Portland. The Alberta location is closest to Vancouver. Snickerdoodle is the bomb and always on the menu. ”
“Local as they get. Always bustling cafe location for a long time Portland roaster. Friendly staff, great shots, and a local atmosphere.”
“one of the neighborhood’s favorite eateries, but that’s for a reason and it’s not a secret, so expect a wait. They have a wide variety of menu items so you’re sure to find something for every palate”
“Very unique place to eat at and a good variety of dishes to choose from. One of a kind!”
“Easily one of the best casual breakfast spots in Portland. Expect a line but it moves quickly and once you’ve ordered, you’ll be seated in no time. The biscuits are seriously amazing and the poptarts rotate seasonally - don’t miss them!”
