Huntsville State Park is about 20 miles from our area and takes about 30 minutes up Interstate 45.

A nice place to hike a bit and then rent a kayak or a canoe and have a picnic with friends and family later on

This is a great park with 4 different trails ranging from 1 mile to 13. Swamps, hills, piney forests - it gives you a GREAT idea of the terrain here - surrounding a lake and great for sunsets.
