Great food at a reasonable price. Cheapest cooked crayfish in town. The chef is amazing.

Just to the left of the cottage is the Pier Hotel. Moved from the original place at the old wharf, it is very popular for their meals and idealic setting. Make sure you book as they get very busy!

Best Views in Kaikoura especially on a sunny day if you sit outside and look out across the bay to the mountains while you dine.
