The Museum tells the story of the Holocaust from a unique perspective, that of Montréal survivors. Visitors learn the history of the Holocaust and are encouraged to consider the implications of prejudice, racism and anti-Semitism. Open: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Jewish holidays and some statutory holidays.

The Museum tells the story of Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust. Montreal became home to proportionally the third largest community of Holocaust survivors in the world, after World War II. Thanks to their objects and testimonies, the visitor is encouraged to consider the implications of prejudice, racism and antisemitism.
