Lovely old fashioned pub. Good food. It's a 45 minute walk, along the Thames from Reading to Sonning.

Famous ancient pub restaurant a short walk away that belongs to the church. Mr Clooney likes it so much he tried to buy it.

Fabulous little English cottage Inn with restaurant & pub, sunny terrace in the summer Great food (ornery owner tho!)Pretty Church. Take Bike/Walk path from the flat along Kennet Canal - 3 miles.
