OUR MUST DO: Located right on Broadway St. next to all the restaurants and shopping and on the river is the gorgeous historic district of Columbus. If you get out of your car to walk the sidewalk, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time. A little known fact is that Coca Cola was invented by a local pharmacist in Columbus GA (Atlanta claims it happened there, but that was the place he made his first sale). The Pemberton House where he lived is at 11 7th St.
