Go for Sunday lunch. You won't get much better Sri Lankan food. They also run regular themed meals and events. Check their social media. A great iconic colonial location where back in pre independence days, ministers would meet regularly. Spectacular views across the coastline and into Colombo.

Historical Hotel with a touch of a romantic story. You can enjoy a walk on the beach and have some great food at the hotel restaurant or sitting at the terrace to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

The Mount Lavinia hotel has a stunning rooftop terrace which has the best view of the Mount Lavinia sea and beach. The hotel has very good restaurants, and famous for hosting weddings and parties.
