The Pantheon is a neo-classical monument located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. In the heart of the Latin Quarter, on the Sainte-Geneviève mountain, it is in the centre of the Place du Panthéon. Since the French Revolution, this monument has been dedicated to honouring great figures who have marked the history of France. Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Louis Braille, Sadi Carnot, Émile Zola, Jean Jaurès, Jean Moulin, Jean Monnet, Pierre and Marie Curie, André Malraux and Alexandre Dumas are among those buried here.

Emblematic building of the Latin quarter, the Pantheon is not only the last residence of France's great names - Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Jean Moulin, Simone Veil and other history makers are resting in peace here - this is also a very impressive piece of art to walk through. If you look up, you'll be awed by its 3-dome ceiling, letting a zenithal light coming in to exagerate the majestic view if the main room.
