The Schauinsland is a mountain of the black forest close to Freiburg. You can get on the top with a cable car. Take a walk up the mountain or even start a hiking tour!

A cable railway runs up to the top of the Schauinsland and you will have a nice view around! :)

in ca. 15 Minuten bringt dich die längste Standseilbahn Deutschlands auf fast 1.300 Meter über dem Meer. Von dort oben siehst du Freiburg, den mittleren und Suedschwarzwald, den Kaiserstuhl, die franz. Vogesen und bei sehr gutem Wetter hast du einen herrlichen Blick bis zu den österreichischen, schweizerischen und sogar französischen Alpen (Mont Blanc).
