Take a visit to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and get an insight to what life was like in the USA during Franklin's presidency and indeed Hyde Park itself where President and Eleanor Roosevelt hosted a state dinner for the king and queen of Britian in 1939. Home of FDR perched right on the Hudson. There are trails, gardens and the home itself to explore. A wonderful day trip.
