The Magic Chef Mansion was built for Charles Stockstrom, the founder of the Magic Chef Stove Company. Restored to its turn-of-the-century elegance it is open for tours the 1st Saturday of each month.

If you're a Dowton Abby fan, you'll love to tour the Magic Chef Mansion. Designed by Ernst Janssen for the founder of the Quick Meal & Magic Chef Stove Company and constructed in 1908, the Magic Chef Mansion is one of St. Louis' premiere old-world estates.
