The best Greek Sculptors are represented in a nice park that used to be a military camp.

This is Athens' sculpture park and it is a great spot for a pic nic known only to Athenians and mostly to Athenians living nearby. It is part of Greece's National Gallery with exhibits both indoors and outdoors. It is also a great place for a run and perfect for kids!

Nice park for children to play or happy couples have their pic-nic! The works of art are out in the open (!) giving the whole park a uniqueness.

It is the largest Gallery of the country and is one of the living cells of the cultural movement in Athens. It consists of 117 paintings, recorded in 1878. The Gallery was then enriched by private collections donated by many Greek painters and collectors such as Al. Soutzos and Koutlidis. Do not miss to see: "The Kissing" by N.Lytra, "The Engagement" by N.Gyzi, "The Concert of the Angels" by Dom. Theotokopoulos, "The Deeproix's Greek Kavalaris".
