One of the best and pricey restaurants in the city. Unforgettable Peruvian and Japan food, a mix of asian and Peruvian cuisine named Cocina Nikkei. Recommended for romantic dinner or to say goodbye to Quito :-)

- Peruvian Sushi - This is a super famous restaurant and is the equivalent to Nobu in the U.S. The owners are actually friends. $$$$ (outside the historical district)

Superb sushi. Some recommendations on what to order..... Tuna foie, O sake foie,Shiromi spicy, Katsu, Hotate truffle, Langoustine TNT, Tumbo shrimp, Tiger roll, Yuzu cheesecake
