A sociologist and an architect from Europe, we landed in Oaxaca in the late ‘90s—and never left. The culture, the nature, the soul of this place had us hooked.
Raising five Indigenous girls here gave us a front-row seat to the depth of Oaxacan tradition, opening our eyes in ways we never imagined.
Decades later, we're still learning, still amazed, and still calling this place home.
