I’ll start with the good:
Great location , quiet, safe neighborhood, easy to reach everything nearby in LA, all appliances worked, everything matched the photos. Good value for what we paid. Host was great with check in and also very responsive for most questions.

Why not a 5-star:
Problem with pests. We found a number of bugs in the house on checkin and during stay
Water pressure not great
Host did not respond to our questions about both of the above problems despite two tries.
Also kitchen and blankets were not the cleanest on check in

Overall this is a good place and we would recommend as a good value considering how much everything else in the area costs, but to be a 5-star it would need to fix the items we mentioned.

I really enjoyed the solitude and the peacefulness of the property. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay, private, clean and close to CSUN.

Easy to find, spacious.. cleanliness was subpar, no hand towels, I usually wouldn’t even knock stars for those things but I did for the safety issue of using the same code for multiple units (or did they double book somehow idk?). A stranger/man unlocked our deadbolt on the door at 11pm as he was looking for his own Airbnb. Luckily we had the bottom lock secured from the inside but had we not been home he could’ve walked right in. He was given the same code as we had and it was really startling to a house of women. I trusted that the man was harmless and lost and it was a poor decision on the host’s behalf- but my mom has bad anxiety and was concerned all night after that considering bottom locks are easy to get through.
