Felt UNWELCOMING, cold & corporate run. After booking I had to watch a video on how to enter property w/clear instructions not to bother the homeowners 10 feet away, then taken to a 3rd party to sign terms/agreements to finalize booking; I’ve never in 15 years using Airbnb had to do this. No privacy, couldn’t open blinds in bedroom & bathroom as it looked directly into homeowners house several feet away; they could certainly see me if blinds were open. Bedroom had couch & big screen tv BUT note saying “no food in bedroom” another note saying quiet time 9pm-7am & tape over the entrance light switch in off position w/no explanation as to why; it was very dark at night with tiny solar lights that were not enough to see path so why have it taped in off position?? When I did walk out to my car I could see homeowner in their space & felt like I was intruding on them. Please don’t rent an Airbnb if you don’t want people on your property. Sensitive people will feel the unwelcoming vibe.
