The preserve is a real gem. There are hiking trails arranged from 1.5 mile to 10+ mile routes, each left untouched other than discreet signage describing areas of particular interest. There are regular kid-centric events held at the main house.

Hiking for nature lovers. Trails and beautiful vistas cover one third of the island. Very safe, pristine. Take a trail map, and be back before the gates close!
